Silchester is 45 minutes from Heathrow airport and about one and a quarter hours from Gatwick airport by car.

Silchester connects to Basingstoke and Reading (both main line stations) by bus and is a short distance from the railway stations at Mortimer and Bramley with regular trains to London taking about half an hour from Reading, one hour from Basingstoke.
